Measuring 5.9m in length, 3m in width, and 2.5m in height, the Viking pod is as spacious as it is captivating, offering 13.7 square metres of adaptable interior space.

This pod is a true canvas for creativity, with room for up to three areas that can serve as sleeping quarters, a cosy dining space, or a relaxing lounge. Luxury 2 Person Glamping Pod

Step into "The Viking’s Keep", a luxury glamping pod crafted for two, where minimalist Scandinavian aesthetics meet modern comfort. This pod is designed to provide an intimate, nature-rich experience with the privacy of a fully enclosed bedroom and a distinct living and dining space, ideal for tranquil retreats or romantic escapes.

 

Exterior

The entrance to "Viking’s Keep" showcases its signature curved silhouette with a charming, rustic appeal. A solid timber door featuring a distinctive geometric window design adds character while maintaining privacy.

The front elevation is framed by bold white architrave accents that highlight the pod’s unique structure. Finished in a soft sage green with textured roof shingles, the pod blends harmoniously into natural surroundings. A simple wooden step provides easy access, set neatly above a gravel or mulch base for added stability and drainage.

 

Open Living, Dining & Kitchenette Area

The front half of the pod opens into a bright and functional living zone, thoughtfully arranged to maximise relaxation and practicality.

On one side, a full kitchenette features twin induction hobs, a mini fridge with freezer, a stainless steel sink with mixer tap, and ample overhead and under-counter storage. A smart bar with two stools extends from the worktop, providing a casual dining space or a spot to enjoy morning coffee while gazing out the front door.

Opposite the kitchenette, a built-in sofa with premium cushions creates a comfortable lounge area, perfect for reading, watching a film, or relaxing after a long day. This multifunctional space benefits from overhead lighting and soft wood panelling that enhances the cosy Nordic feel.

 

Private Bedroom

Tucked away at the rear of the pod, the private master bedroom offers a calming space designed for rest and relaxation.

Furnished with a plush double bed, the room features a rectangular window that allows in natural light while maintaining privacy. A built-in wardrobe sits conveniently to the side, providing space for clothes and personal items. The open doorway between the living area and bedroom maintains the pod’s spacious feel, creating seamless flow while still offering visual separation for privacy.

 

Modern Bathroom

Discreetly positioned beside the bedroom, the compact bathroom includes a stylish curved shower enclosure that blends into the pod’s rounded wall, a contemporary toilet, and a compact hand basin. The water heater is mounted above the WC, neatly concealed to preserve floor space and keep utilities contained within the front half of the pod.

This bespoke project was situated high in the peaks, where two lone pods stood proudly amidst breath-taking views, capturing the essence of a hunter’s style cabin...

• Main Living Space: Upon entering, guests are welcomed into a cosy living area complete with two lounge chairs, a radiator, and a TV, creating a relaxing retreat to unwind after a day of adventure. 
• Sleeping Quarters: Beyond the living area lies the sleeping space, with two single beds positioned on either side of the pod. A bedside table and a mini fridge are nestled between the beds, providing practicality and charm.
• While this layout currently includes two single beds, it can easily be adapted to feature a double bed or other configurations to suit specific needs.

Pricing

This pod is priced at £10,995 (exc VAT). The reduced cost reflects the exclusion of the kitchen and washroom featured in the original design. This configuration includes the pod structure only, with no internal furnishings, as these were completed by the end client.
