1. Pod Warranty

Structure and Furnishings

Our pods are designed, fabricated and transported, adhering to the highest British and European standards of craftsmanship and quality. We maintain close partnerships with our dedicated partners and couriers to ensure the utmost quality.

As a testament to our confidence in our pods, we offer a comprehensive two-year warranty on all our pods. This warranty underscores our commitment to delivering top-tier, durable, and reliable pods to our valued customers. Our two-year structure warranty covers our pods for both private and commercial use.

With the right care, we confidently state that our pods are built to endure for decades to come.

Our comprehensive two-year warranty covers all aspects of your pod(s), ensuring you have peace of mind when it comes to your investment. This warranty includes:

  1. Pod Structure: Your entire pod structure, including walls, flooring, subframe, roof, insulation, doors (internal and external), and windows, is included.
  2. Kitchen & Internal Furnishing: Your kitchen units and internal furnishings, including the bed frame, WHB (wash hand basin), internal lighting, sockets, etc.
  3. All internal components and furnishings provided by Home Living Luxury are encompassed under this warranty period.

Appliance Warranty

The appliances we provide, including the shower, water heater, fridge, detectors and stove, each come with their own manufacturer's warranty, which may differ between appliances.

Generally, these terms range from 1 to 5 years. (e.g our Harvia heaters).

It's essential to understand that the warranty period for electrical products and accessories is often shorter when used for commercial purposes.

2. Post-Warranty Repairs

After the warranty period ends, or if the products are intentionally damaged by third parties or due to customer fault, Home Living Luxury may, in some cases, offer replacement parts for a fee. The cost of these replacement parts and services will be based on rates set by Home Living Luxury.

Customers are required to cover the expenses for these services unless Home Living Luxury specifies otherwise. The exact criteria and terms for post-warranty repairs or damages resulting from intentional misuse will be determined by Home Living Luxury.

3. Warranty Exclusions

Within the following sections, we will provide a detailed overview of the specific exclusions contained within our warranty terms. These are important to understand as they delineate situations and circumstances where warranty coverage may not apply.

  1. Non-compliance with Assembly Instructions: If your pod is delivered unassembled, it is crucial to follow the provided assembly instructions correctly. Your warranty will be void if the assembly is done incorrectly due to not adhering to the detailed and comprehensive instructions provided with your purchase.
  2. Natural Characteristics of Wood: As wood is a natural material, the warranty does not cover the following aspects:
    1. Wood may develop cracks after assembly.
    2. Wood movement, which may lead to gaps in walls due to factors like lightning, hurricanes, or tornadoes, resulting in changes in the item's shape.
    3. The occurrence of mould on wood (this is due to improper maintenance).
    4. Wooden details that include intact branches and do not compromise the item's stability.
    5. Consequences of extreme or unusual weather conditions, such as water seepage through the wall or roof shingles during exceptionally heavy rain, strong winds, or weather events like lightning, hurricanes, or tornadoes.
    6. Use of the item not in accordance with its intended purpose or malfunctions caused by non-compliance with the provided instructions.
  3. After the Alterations and Repairs: The warranty is not applicable if the items are disassembled, their components are replaced, or if the items are altered by entities without our prior knowledge and approval. Additionally, if third parties have carried out repairs on the items without or prior approval.
  4. Normal Wear and Tear: Natural wear and tear of the materials used and the item itself are not covered by the warranty.
  5. Atmospheric Influences: Wood, being a natural construction material, can be affected by atmospheric conditions. Before processing, timber typically contains up to 18% residual moisture content, and changes in humidity due to different weather conditions (e.g., rain, freezing, cold, or heat) can impact the wood structure and may lead to the following effects:
    1. Cracking during the drying process, which is considered a natural occurrence and not covered by the warranty.
    2. Adaptation of wooden details to new conditions a few weeks after construction. This may necessitate adjustments to doors.
    3. Ultraviolet rays (solar rays) may cause changes in the colour of the wood.

In summary, it's important to note that our warranty does not cover instances of misconstruction, misuse, normal wear and tear, and the effects of weather and atmospheric influences on wood. These exclusions are in place to provide clarity on the specific situations and conditions where we cannot be held liable under the warranty.

4. Filing a Claim

In the event that you need to make a warranty claim, please contact Home Living Luxury and provide the following information:

  • Name and type of the product.
  • Order number and date of the order.
  • A detailed description of the claim, specifying exact positions on the product.
  • If the claim pertains to transport damages, be sure to include copies of the signed shipping documents.
  • Photos are a necessary part of the claim process. Please provide as many photos as possible, as this will greatly assist with your claim.

5. Return Policy

At Home Living Luxury, we take pride in creating bespoke projects tailored specifically to you and your project requirements. Once a bespoke order has been placed and the pod(s) are scheduled for production, we operate under a strict no refund policy. Due to the customised nature of our products, it is important to understand our return and refund policies.

Acceptance of Terms

Before the pods are put into production, we require your signature on this document. Your signature signifies your acceptance of the project specifications and your agreement to the terms and conditions of the sale. This step ensures that all parties are in agreement before we commence the creation of your bespoke glamping pods.

No Refund Policy

  1. Pre-Production Phase: Once you have signed the agreement and the pods are scheduled for production, a strict no refund policy is in effect. This is because each pod is custom-built to your specifications, making it impossible to repurpose or resell these unique products.
  2. In-Production Phase: During the production phase, refunds are not available. At this stage, materials have been procured and the manufacturing process has begun, specifically tailored to your order.
  3. Post-Production and Delivery: Upon delivery, there is no return policy. The only exception to this is if the pods arrive damaged. In such cases, please refer to our warranty policy for detailed information on handling damaged deliveries.
