The ambient temperature of an indoor room is generally higher and more stable, which means the sauna requires less energy to reach the desired heat level. 
• Garage/Shed: In contrast, a garage often has a cooler ambient temperature, which can result in a longer warm-up time as the sauna works to overcome the cooler surrounding air.

    

Flooring Types and Impact on Heating

• Carpet or Laminate Flooring: These materials provide better insulation, helping to retain heat within the sauna and reducing warm-up time. They prevent cool air from seeping into the sauna, making it quicker and more energy-efficient to heat.
• Concrete or Tarmac: Saunas placed on these surfaces may take longer to heat up. Concrete, in particular, can absorb heat from the sauna and dissipate it, leading to cool air mixing with the warm air inside. This can prolong the warm-up period and increase energy consumption as the sauna struggles to maintain the desired temperature.

   

Base Requirements

• Suitable Bases: A level and sturdy foundation is essential for the proper assembly and long-term stability of your sauna. Suitable base options for our indoor saunas include wooden floors, tiled floors, carpet, laminate, concrete, and tarmac.
• Avoid Uneven Surfaces: Ensure the base is free from significant depressions or gullies over 20mm (3/4 inch), as these can cause the floor to bow and affect sauna performance.
• Installation Service Note: Our fitters will not assemble the sauna on an uneven base, as it compromises safety and function. Please ensure a suitable foundation is prepared to avoid installation delays.

   

How to Verify Your Sauna Base

To confirm the suitability of your sauna base, follow these steps:

• Check for Levelness: Place a straight piece of material, such as a wooden or metal pole, across the base. Use a spirit level on top to ensure the surface is even.
• Identify Depressions: Move the material around and look for any rocking or gaps underneath. If you notice any depressions exceeding 20mm (3/4 inch), the base may require adjustment.

Assembly

Assembly Instructions

Our indoor saunas are delivered in modular components, typically with the walls, flooring, and roof pre-assembled. During assembly, you will need to join these components at the corners and intersections to create the complete sauna structure. The assembly process is designed to be straightforward, and the following steps will guide you through the process.

On average, for those without prior experience, assembly can take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours. We recommend that two individuals work together to construct the sauna.

   

Clearance and Positioning

When installing this sauna in an enclosed space, it is important to leave at least 2 inches of clearance around the unit. This gap allows for proper air circulation and ventilation, which helps prevent overheating and ensures the sauna operates efficiently.

If you’re positioning the sauna in a corner, consider assembling it slightly out from the corner first and then carefully moving it into place once constructed. This method provides easier access during assembly.

Optional Installation

For your convenience, professional installation is available as an optional service for this sauna model. This service (£500) can be added to your purchase to provide you with a seamless and stress-free experience. By choosing professional installation, you can be confident that your sauna will be assembled and connected correctly, allowing you to enjoy your sauna worry-free from day one.

  

Scheduling Installation

On average, the period between order confirmation and installation is around 4 weeks.  After your order confirmation, our team will contact you to provide an official installation date, ensuring a smooth and well-coordinated process.

We will schedule an installation date that works around your timeframe. We will provide a couple of possible installation dates and you can choose the date that works best for you.

    

On the Day of Installation

Our installation slots cover the entire day, as we service customers across the UK mainland. Our fitters will give you a call approximately one hour before their arrival. Due to the nature of travel and unforeseen variables such as traffic, we cannot provide exact ETAs and cannot be held liable for any delays.

It is crucial that the homeowner is present on the day of installation. We need to coordinate with you on the precise location of the sauna and provide a detailed demonstration on how to operate it.

If you are not available at the scheduled time, our fitters may have to void the installation, and a second installation attempt will be required. This may incur additional charges and could delay the installation by up to 4 weeks, depending on availability.

To ensure a smooth installation process, please plan to be available throughout the day and keep your phone handy for the fitter's call.

     

Our Installation Procedure

1. Delivery: We handle the safe and efficient delivery of your sauna to your chosen location, ensuring it arrives in perfect condition, ready for installation.
2. Full Erection of the Sauna: We will transport and position the sauna in your designated location, ensuring it is watertight and free from drafts. Our team also addresses all electrical requirements during this process to guarantee a safe and fully functional sauna experience.
3. Connection to Pre-Wired Rotary Isolator: If your sauna requires a dedicated electrical supply  and your electrician has pre-installed the necessary rotary isolator, we will handle the final connection, making the sauna ready for immediate use. 
4. Comprehensive Appliance Inspection: After installation, we perform a thorough inspection of all sauna appliances to ensure everything is working as intended. We provide a detailed demonstration of how the sauna operates, ensuring you are fully prepared to enjoy your sauna.
5. Duration: Depending on the model, our assembly and installation service typically takes between 2-4 hours per sauna.

      

Electrical

Power Supply

This sauna model is designed for convenience with a 13-amp plug-and-play setup, allowing it to connect directly to a standard UK household socket. No special wiring or additional electrical setup is required, making it easy to install and use right away. 

  

Cable Length

The sauna’s electrical cable comes equipped with a UK plug top, extends 2 meters from the back of the unit. To ensure safe and reliable operation, the cable should never be stretched or overextended to reach the socket. Stretching the cable can lead to loose connections within the sauna, putting strain on the wiring and increasing the risk of electrical hazards.

The cable should remain loose and free, with some slack to prevent tension. If the existing cable length is insufficient to reach the socket comfortably, consider using a properly rated extension lead or moving the sauna closer to the power source.

Commercial Use Warranty

This warranty covers the same components—wood, controls, and heaters—but for a shorter period to account for the increased wear and tear typical in commercial use. 

   

Indoor Models:

• 2-Year Warranty: Covers wood, controls, and heaters for commercial saunas.
• 6-Month Warranty: Covers the CD player for commercial use.

    

Outdoor Models:

• 2-Year Warranty: Covers controls and heaters.
• 6-Month Warranty: Covers wood and the CD player for commercial use.

   

Important Conditions

• Environment: Saunas or components must be used in an indoor setting unless specifically designed and labelled for outdoor use. Using indoor saunas or parts outdoors will void the warranty.
• Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage due to improper installation, misuse, or neglect. It also excludes any modifications or alterations to the product.

Shipping

Delivery without Installation

• UK Mainland: For UK mainland, saunas which are in stock are packaged and delivered within 5 days. 
• NI/ROI: We can ship all of our saunas to both Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. Delivery usually takes around 5-10 days and the shipping fee is £200.00. We cannot install this sauna model in NI/ROI. This would be a delivery only service. Please contact us to discuss delivery.

     

Delivery with Installation

• Timeline: We are generally booked up for installation 4 weeks in advance. After your order is confirmed, our team will contact you to coordinate a suitable installation date. We will provide some options and we can coordinate with you to find a date that suits you and your schedule.
• Cost: For added convenience, we offer professional installation as an optional extra for this sauna model, available for an additional £500. This service includes delivery, complete assembly, connection to a pre-installed rotary isolator (if applicable), and a thorough testing and usage demonstration.

       

Installation Duration

The complete process, including assembly and setup and testing, takes between on average between 2-4 hours. Our skilled technicians will guide you through the operation of your sauna, ensuring you are comfortable with its use before leaving.

    

Order Adjustments & Issues

• If you notice an error in your order, contact us immediately for assistance in correcting the mistake.

  

Customised Saunas

We offer fully bespoke saunas tailored to your unique preferences, whether you're looking for a custom-built sauna or need minor adjustments to an existing model. Our skilled team can accommodate various requests, including specific dimensions, materials, and additional features.

• Minor Adjustments: Small modifications, such as size alterations or added features, typically take 1-2 weeks.
• Full Custom Builds: More complex customizations or completely bespoke designs may take up to 20 weeks, depending on the project scope. We’ll provide a precise timeline based on your requirements.

   

Returns

Return Timeframe

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 working days. For saunas with installation, this period begins on the day the installation is completed. You will be required to sign our installation document to confirm that you are satisfied with the installation and the condition of the sauna. This document serves as your acknowledgment that the sauna has been delivered and installed to your satisfaction.

For saunas delivered without installation, the 14-day cancellation period begins on the day the sauna arrives at your premises. If you wish to cancel your order during this timeframe, please contact us to initiate the return process.

 

Return Conditions for Delivery Only Saunas 

• Dismantling and Repackaging: If you choose to return your sauna, you are responsible for carefully dismantling it and repackaging all components securely. The sauna must be returned in its original, unused, and resalable condition, with all parts and packaging intact. 
• Safe Transportation: You are also responsible for arranging and covering the cost of safe transportation back to our warehouse. We recommend using a secure, insured delivery service to ensure the sauna arrives undamaged. Failure to properly repackage and transport the sauna could result in additional charges or the inability to process a refund.

   

Return Conditions for Saunas with Installation

• Assessment of Condition: If you decide to request a refund within the 14-day period, we will need to conduct a thorough assessment of the sauna to determine whether it is in a resalable condition. Our team will arrange a visit to inspect the sauna. If the sauna is deemed to be in an unsatisfactory condition for resale due to misuse, damage, or other issues not covered under our warranty, we will be unable to accept the return.
• Collection Fee: There is a £500 call-out fee for us to return to your location and dismantle the sauna for collection. This fee covers transportation and labour costs associated with safely removing the sauna from your premises.

 

Faulty or Mis-described Goods

If the sauna is faulty or not as described upon installation, please do not sign the installation document. The purpose of this document is to acknowledge that the sauna has been delivered and installed to your satisfaction, and signing it confirms your acceptance of the quality and installation.

Instead, notify our fitters immediately of any issues. If the sauna is confirmed to be faulty or not as described, we will repair, replace, or collect the sauna at no additional cost to you. 

   

Cancelling Prior to Installation

If you wish to cancel your order before the installation date, please contact us via telephone and confirm the cancellation by email. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

 

Refund Timeframe

Once your sauna has been returned to our warehouse, please allow up to 5 days for us to inspect it for any defects or damage. If the sauna is verified to be in resalable condition, we will proceed with processing your refund. Please note that it may take an additional 5 days for the funds to be credited back to your account.

  

Return Address

Please do not send returns to 207 Regent Street, (W1B 3HH) as this is not our warehouse address. The correct return address will be provided upon request. Any items sent to 207 Regent Street will not be accepted, and you will need to cover additional shipping costs to have the sauna redirected to our warehouse. For the correct return address, please contact us directly.
