Properly painting and impregnating is one of the most important things to consider when thinking about how to extend your product's lifetime.
Paint and natural wood finish instantly spruce up the aesthetics of your product.
The decision you will need to make is if you want to use a water-based wood stain or paint. Both will offer you UV protection. The wood stains will allow the texture of the
wood to show through and many are now available in a vast range of colors, however, paints will give you an intensive color, but will cover the grain and texture of the wood.

It is very important to have a proper base for your Open Grill Cabin.
Therefore, we recommend following our sketches and consulting a qualified local builder or engineer. Making sure that the base for your product fits the location is of utmost importance.
Due to an improper base, the structure may crack. If the product is unevenly seated, the geometric shape of the building may change, which can result in the door/windows twisting, and/or gaps. In the worst-case scenario, the product may even collapse.
- Before building the base, make sure you take into account the landscape and the ground conditions on which the product will stand.
- The base under the product must be prepared specifically for the product.
- The base must be homogeneous, tight, and level.
- Make sure that the properties of the base do not change over time. We recommend making the base out of concrete and water-proofing it before installation.
If you do not follow our recommendations for building/ choosing a suitable base, the warranty will be nulled!

Open Grill Cabin 9.2 m² can delivered to you is not assembled but fully complete, with detailed assembly instructions and drawings, and packed on a pallet (KIT). Two people can assemble Open Grill Cabin 9.2 m² in 6 hours.
- The standard grill is packed with the cabin together but we strongly recommend choosing packing on a separate pallet of size (L x W x H): 0.90 x 1.20 x 1.50 m.
- "Viking" grill is packed only on a separate pallet of size (L x W x H): 1.05 x 1.05 x 0.86 m.
- The "Luxury" grill is packed only on a separate pallet of size (L x W x H): 0.90 x 1.20 x 1.25 m.

Before embarking on your sauna installation journey, it's crucial to understand that this sauna model is not a 13amp plug and play unit. Instead, it requires a dedicated hardwired electrical supply. Please take note of this important distinction as you prepare for the electrical setup of your sauna. The following guide will walk you through the necessary steps to ensure a safe and efficient electrical connection.
Power Supply
Your sauna model requires a 8kW electrical supply to function optimally. This electrical setup must be hardwired, providing a dedicated power source for your sauna. This connection will be made into a rotary isolator, which is a crucial component in the electrical setup of your sauna.
The rotary isolator serves as a safety switch and allows you to control the power supply to your sauna. It's an essential part of creating a secure and efficient electrical system for your sauna experience.
For expert guidance on wiring the rotary isolator from your fuse board and connecting it to your sauna's power supply, we recommend consulting with your local qualified electrician. They have the knowledge and expertise to ensure a safe and reliable electrical setup for your sauna.
Rotary Isolator Placement
Position the rotary isolator within 1-2 meters of the sauna, ensuring convenient access for electrical connection. Thus ensuring the cable length is sufficient for connection.
Booking an Electrician
Due to high demand for electricians, it's advisable to book their services in advance. This proactive approach helps streamline the installation process.
Choosing Your Timing
Depending on your preference, electrical work can be completed either before or after the physical sauna installation. If scheduled before installation, our team can connect the sauna to the rotary isolator, assuming it has been fitted by the electrician. Alternatively, if electrical work is planned after installation, the electrician can handle the connection without requiring their presence during sauna installation. The electrician does not need to be present on the day of installation.
Qualified Electrical Installation
Your safety is paramount when it comes to enjoying your Home Living Luxury sauna to the fullest. If you do not have a rotary isolator installed on your property (as pictured above), you will need to have one installed. To guarantee a secure and efficient electrical setup, it's imperative to entrust this task to a qualified electrician who is well-versed in adhering to BS 7671 regulations. This guide outlines the essential knowledge to make your sauna experience both enjoyable and secure.
- Qualified Electrician: All electrical connections for your new sauna must be carried out by a qualified electrician. The installation must conform to BS 7671 regulations to ensure your safety.
- Residual Current Device (RCD): Your sauna must be supplied through a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA. This additional safety measure helps protect against electric shock.
- Hardwired: The sauna requires a hardwired connection and the instructions above must be followed and understood by both yourself and your electrician.
- Rotary Isolator Requirements: Ideally, it should be as close to the sauna as possible, we strongly recommend within 2 meters. This must have a minimum protection rating of IP55. Your electrician will be able to provide concise information regarding this.

Usage & Maintenance
Usage
- The first time you use your grill, the surfaces of the new product that are in direct contact with the flames may create a smoky smell when heating up. We advise to keep the door open during the first use and not to cook until the smell disappears.
- When burning wood we recommend use a grill table metal safety fence.
- We suggest you use only firewood or briquettes. Larger burning objects can be added later when the fire is burning well. We advise using objects no larger than 300mm.
- A sufficient flow of fresh air is the most essential aspect of smoke exhaustion. At least as much fresh air should come in as goes out with the smoke.
- If the grill is generating a lot of smoke, open the door of the Grill Cabin and make sure that the wood is dry and without bark. Put in additional dry wood if needed.
- Keep decorations away from your grill. Hanging decorations look pretty, but provide fuel for a fire.
- Keep water nearby for flare-ups.
- Keep a fire extinguisher within a couple of steps of your Grill. And KNOW HOW TO USE IT!
- Don't leave a grill unattended. Don't allow kids or pets to play near the grill. Never try to move the hot grill, and remember the grill will stay hot for at least an hour after its use.
- Do not sleep in a Grill Cabin when the fire is on!
- Use protective gloves when handling hot cooking plates. Never move or service an operating grill.
- Please note, that the metal grill may have sharp edges and the steel parts of the grill heat up when the fire is burning, therefore there is a risk to harm or burn yourself.
- Remove ashes from the grill after they have cooled down.
- Make sure you give yourself time to clean your grill after each use in order to ensure maximum hygiene and proper functioning.
Maintenance
You should not forget that wood is a natural material, it changes and moves depending on weather conditions. Large and small cracks, colour tone differences and other changes, as well as a changing structure of wood are not defects, but a result of wood growing and a feature of wood as a natural material. Natural wood (not impregnated) becomes greyish after being left untouched for a while and can turn blue and become mouldy. You should immediately process it with a wood preservative to protect the wooden parts of our manufactured products.
We definitely recommend that you protect the door and windows with a wood preservative, and do it on both sides (inside and outside), because the doors and windows can deform. Also, you should pre-treat the floor panels with a wood preservative, especially the bottom sides of the panels, to which you will no longer have access when the Cabin is assembled. Only this will prevent moisture penetration.
In general, we recommend for the conclusive finishing a weather protection paint that will protect the wood from moisture and UV radiation after the Cabin is assembled. Consult a specialist regarding paints suitable for unprocessed softwood and follow the paint manufacturer's instructions. Your Grill Cabin service life will be much longer after it will be properly painted. We recommend that you inspect your Cabin thoroughly once every six months.
The customer should make sure that air circulation is working in winter as well. It means that air pipes are open all year round and that moisture gets out from the product (through the chimney). The customer should also make sure that the product´s roof is not covered by snow. A layer of snow cannot be thicker than 20 cm on the roof and the flue should never be covered by snow or closed manually.

Post Warranty Repairs
After the warranty period ends, or if the products are intentionally damaged by third parties or due to customer fault, Home Living Luxury may, in some cases, offer replacement parts for a fee. The cost of these replacement parts and services will be based on rates set by Home Living Luxury.
Customers are required to cover the expenses for these services unless Home Living Luxury specifies otherwise. The exact criteria and terms for post-warranty repairs or damages resulting from intentional misuse will be determined by Home Living Luxury.
Warranty Exclusions

Your warranty will be void if the assembly is done incorrectly due to not adhering to the detailed and comprehensive instructions provided with your purchase.
- Natural Characteristics of Wood: As wood is a natural material, the warranty does not cover the following aspects:
- Wood may develop cracks after assembly.
- Wood movement, which may lead to gaps in walls due to factors like lightning, hurricanes, or tornadoes, resulting in changes in the item's shape.
- The occurrence of mould on wood.
- Wooden details that include intact branches and do not compromise the item's stability.
- Consequences of extreme or unusual weather conditions, such as water seepage through the wall or roof shingles during exceptionally heavy rain, strong winds, or weather events like lightning, hurricanes, or tornadoes.
- Use of the item not in accordance with its intended purpose or malfunctions caused by non-compliance with the provided instructions.
- Alterations and Repairs: The warranty is not applicable if the items are disassembled, their components are replaced, or if the items are altered by entities other than Home Living Luxury. Additionally, if third parties have carried out repairs on the items.
- Normal Wear and Tear: Natural wear and tear of the materials used and the item itself are not covered by the warranty.
- Atmospheric Influences: Wood, being a natural construction material, can be affected by atmospheric conditions. Before processing, timber typically contains up to 18% residual moisture content, and changes in humidity due to different weather conditions (e.g., rain, freezing, cold, or heat) can impact the wood structure and may lead to the following effects:
- Cracking during the drying process, which is considered a natural occurrence and not covered by the warranty.
- Adaptation of wooden details to new conditions a few weeks after construction. This may necessitate adjustments to doors.
- Ultraviolet rays (solar rays) may cause changes in the colour of the wood.
In summary, it's important to note that our warranty does not cover instances of misconstruction, misuse, normal wear and tear, and the effects of weather and atmospheric influences on wood. These exclusions are in place to provide clarity on the specific situations and conditions where we cannot be held liable under the warranty.
Filing a Claim

- Order number and date of the order.
- A detailed description of the claim, specifying exact positions on the product.
- If the claim pertains to transport damages, be sure to include copies of the signed shipping documents.

While our goal is to deliver within 20-25 days, please note that certain circumstances, such as customisations or weather-related delays, may extend the timeframe up to 30 days. - You can make changes to your order within 3 working days from the date of order placement without incurring any extra fees.
- It may be possible to make changes up to 5 working days after placing your order, but after the initial 3 working days, a "late amendment fee" may apply along with any additional charges resulting from the modifications.
- Please note that while we will do our absolute best to accommodate your requested changes, the final decision lies at the discretion of Home Living Luxury.

Pre-delivery Cancellations
Building on the information provided above, it's crucial to emphasise that our sauna fabrication typically commences 5-7 days after you place your order. Given this timeline, it becomes quite challenging for us to entertain pre-delivery order cancellations once your order is officially placed. Our pods are crafted to your precise specifications, which significantly limits the opportunity for returns or order amendments. Therefore, we strongly advise careful consideration before finalising your order.
If you ever find the need to make changes to your order, please contact us as soon as possible within the initial 3 working days from the date of order placement. During this timeframe, adjustments can be made without incurring additional fees. However, it's essential to clarify that the window for a full order cancellation is strictly 3 working days. If you choose to cancel your order within this period, a 5% cancellation fee will be retained by Home Living Luxury. For example, if your sauna order is valued at £10,000 and you request a full refund within the 3 working day period, we will issue the refund, deducting a 5% cancellation fee (£500). This policy specifically applies to products designed and crafted to your unique specifications, which explains its precise nature.
Please note that orders cannot be cancelled after the initial 3 full working days following the order placement. This policy is in place to ensure a streamlined and efficient process for all our valued customers.
Returns for Damaged Deliveries
Our returns policy accommodates orders that are received damaged by our courier. In such cases, please do not sign off on the delivery document and follow these steps:
