The rattan weave is chosen for its strength and resistance to fading, tested for outdoor use from -40°C to +40°C, making Katie Blake ideal for the UK and European markets.

Their cushions meet British Standard 5852 Fire and Safety specifications, ensuring they are safe for storage inside your home. Made from 100% polyester, they offer a rot-free finish. Although treated with a showerproof finish, we do not recommend leaving them out permanently as they will deteriorate faster. Cushions should be stored in a dry environment when not in use to avoid mould.

For optimal protection, we recommend purchasing a Katie Blake outdoor cover. During the summer, you can leave your cushions under the cover, but they should not be left out during the winter, even under the cover.

All Katie Blake woven tables must be assembled, and assembly instructions are included. All chairs, sofas, loungers, and corner units arrive fully assembled.


Is it typical for the material of my rattan furniture to become softer and expand in size?

When exposed to high temperatures, the weave may become slightly flexible. It will return to its original shape once the temperature decreases, which is expected behaviour and does not damage your furniture.


The glass appears to be misaligned with my tabletop, is this a typical occurrence?

Our tables are crafted by hand, allowing for slight variances in dimensions. If a notable disparity is observed, please contact us with accompanying images for assistance. We will review this on a case by case basis and in some cases, a replacement may be provided fee of charge.


Is it possible to purchase replacement glass for my table?

If your Katie Blake cantilever parasol pedal is stuck and won’t rotate, what can you do?

We recommend lubricating the bearings beneath the plastic casing on the cross-brace with a product such as WD40. After that, carefully remove the tracks from their stationary location.

However, due to circumstances outside of our control, such as adverse weather conditions, delivery driver shortages or unforeseen situations, delivery may take longer than anticipated. Delivery Scheduling

Once your order has been processed and passed over to our courier, our courier will contact you on the number you have provided to us, to arrange a delivery date and time which suits you.

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful after the customer has confirmed their availability with our couriers, a re-delivery fee of £75 will be charged to the customer’s account.


UK Delivery

Our standard delivery service includes delivery to a hard standing or kerb side location if delivered by pallet. You will receive a call from the delivery driver before they arrive, so you’ll know when to expect them. Please note that packaging removal is not included in this service.

What our guarantee covers:

We offer up to a 10-year guarantee against faulty workmanship for both the frames and the rattan weave. While some fading of the rattan may occur over time, it will be minimal.

The rattan is resistant to spills from wine, chlorine, and various garden chemicals. Under normal domestic use, your furniture should last at least 10 years, during which we will repair or replace it if necessary.


What the guarantee does not cover:

  • Damage from scratching or cutting the rattan weave
  • Burns or melting of the rattan, such as from cigarette burns
  • Melt marks on Polywood table tops caused by drinking glasses under strong sunlight; always use a coaster
  • The tempered glass
  • Damage from leaving a parasol in the table fully opened in windy conditions
  • Picking at the rattan, which children or animals might do
  • Cushions and fabrics
  • Parasols supplied with dining sets
  • Deterioration of furniture not covered by a Katie Blake cover
  • Damage from using the parasol without a Stürdi Base
  • Damage from leaving the parasol in the table during windy conditions
  • Accidental cutting of the rattan when opening cartons with a sharp knife
  • Scuffing of the rattan by dragging the furniture over rough surfaces
  • Bending of the frame from standing on the furniture

Additional Warranty Information 

Please be aware that our 10-year guarantee only covers structural damage, rust, and fading of the furniture in the UK. This guarantee does not extend to glass, cushions, or parasols.

Our furniture is designed to withstand typical UK weather conditions and may not be suitable for other climates. Extreme temperatures can cause the rattan to contract and expand, potentially leading to damage or cracking. Home Living Luxury is not liable for any damage resulting from exposure to foreign weather conditions if the furniture is moved outside the UK.

Home Living Luxury reserves the right to void the 10-year guarantee in cases of inappropriate misuse or if the product has been tampered with by a third party. The guarantee also does not cover damage considered to be fair wear and tear.

At Home Living Luxury, we are always happy to provide advice on how to care for your furniture. Your Katie Blake furniture is designed to offer many years of service. If you need to replace the parasol or cushions, please contact us. Note that we update our fabric colours every three years, so the original colour of your furniture or cushions may no longer be available.



Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 working days following the receipt of your order.


Cancelling an Order Prior to Dispatch:

You are permitted to cancel your order before it is dispatched. Please contact us as soon as possible by telephone and confirm your cancellation by email to minimise any overheads and inconvenience.

Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment used at the time of purchase. We cannot issue a refund to a different credit or debit card. If the account used for the original purchase has been closed, please make arrangements with your banking institution or credit card company to receive your funds.


Returning Damaged Products:

If your products are damaged upon delivery, notify us as soon as possible so we can organise a collection, refund, or substitution at no extra cost to you.


Returning an Unwanted Item:

Unfortunately, we cannot refund your return costs if the item is unwanted. However, if the item was delivered in unsatisfactory condition, please send it back to our UK address. Our returns team will assess it, and a postage refund will be processed where possible.

Please return items via a secure and insured delivery service (such as Royal Mail Recorded Delivery), as we cannot accept responsibility for goods not received. A proof of signature is required to confirm receipt. Keep your tracking number until your refund or exchange is processed. All return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.


Faulty Items:

We will refund postage for any faulty items returned to us. However, we cannot accept liability for an item until it has been returned and confirmed as faulty. Merchandise must be returned in its original condition to be accepted as a return.
